Privacy
This policy explains which data the METAVSHN Fibre Map uses, why it uses it, and what choices you have.

Who is responsible
METAVSHN GmbH, Via Stazione 5, 6600 Muralto, Switzerland, operates this service. Contact us at info@metavshn.com.
Data used by the site
The service uses an address, building reference, or map position to show fibre coverage. The application and its databases are hosted and processed in Switzerland.
Your browser can store your theme and language, saved buildings, and the changelog items you have seen. The language is also saved in the ftth_lang cookie. You can remove this data in your browser settings.
Usage analytics
We use our self-hosted Umami service at stats.metavshn.com. Its data is stored and processed in Switzerland. It records page use, session replays, and heatmaps so that we can find and fix usability problems. This privacy page has no session replay.
Before an analytics event is sent, the site removes map coordinates, search filters, and tokens. It keeps the open building reference and the b, lang, m, period, and embed address parameters.
Fibre change alerts
If you ask for email alerts, we store your email address, language, followed buildings, and related timestamps. We use this data only to send fibre change notices. Emailit delivers the messages. We do not enable email open or click tracking.
Confirmation links use hashed tokens. A sign-in session cookie for the /alerts area can last for 30 days. We also use CSRF protection. You can unsubscribe or remove your alert account on the Alerts page.
Security and rate limits
To prevent misuse, we keep request counts linked to hashed email or IP values for up to 2 days. MCP rate-limit records expire after 24 hours.
Optional MCP and ChatGPT use
The optional MCP connection can store registered client redirect addresses, hashed one-time codes, hashed access and refresh tokens, and their expiry data. Webhook subscriptions can store the owner, selected building, callback address, signing secret, expiry, and delivery progress.
The application does not store ChatGPT conversation history or model output. If you start an action in ChatGPT, OpenAI processes that action under its own privacy terms.
External services
Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the site. Emailit delivers alert emails. Your browser requests OpenStreetMap map tiles from the configured tile provider, which receives normal network information such as your IP address and browser details. These providers can process data under their own terms and in their own locations.
Purpose and sharing
We use data to provide fibre coverage, saved choices, alerts, optional integrations, security, and service improvements. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising. We share data only with providers needed for these purposes or when the law requires it.
How long we keep data
A followed-building preference stays until you stop following that building. Your email alert account stays until you unsubscribe from all alerts or remove the account. Browser preferences stay until you clear them. MCP credentials and subscriptions stay until they expire or are revoked or removed. The short security periods are listed above. Other operational data is kept only as long as needed for the stated purpose.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your personal data. You can also ask us to correct or delete it. Send your request to info@metavshn.com.
