Connect any AI assistant. The map's MCP server is now at https://ftth.metavshn.com/mcp and works with any MCP client, Claude included, with no account. The link is at the bottom of the side panel.
ChatGPT integration. Connect the coverage map to ChatGPT through MCP. Search addresses, read coverage and follow changes for a building. The connection has request limits; monitoring requires sign-in.
Embed a building. The share button in the building details opens a menu: copy the link, share it, or copy the embed code. The embed shows the building on the map with its fibre status on your own website.
Clearer map colours. ALEX has its own colours: raspberry for OTO Ready, rust for BEP Ready and blue for Planned. A building orderable at both Swisscom and ALEX now shows two clearly different halves. Every dot has the same white outline, and the dark map uses lighter colours.
Share a building. The share button in the building details sends a link with a preview: the address, its fibre status and a map, on satellite imagery when that is on.
One-finger zoom. On a phone, double-tap the map to zoom in. Double-tap and hold, then slide down to zoom in or up to zoom out.
Navigation. The header links the map, the updates page and email alerts on every page. On a phone they are in the menu at the top right.
What’s new. Opens from the sparkle beside the sidebar title, on a phone from the menu. The sparkle is bold while there is news you have not read.
Short building numbers. About 88,000 buildings with a short building number (EGID) open again; they showed “Building not found.”
Email alerts. Open a building and press the bell to get an email when its fibre status, planned date or ComDate changes. See and change the buildings you follow on the email alerts page.
GWR import date. The sidebar shows when the GWR building register was last imported.

Updates page. The updates page counts the buildings that became orderable and shows what changed in each import, also as an RSS or JSON feed.
All entrances. Buildings with several entrances list all their addresses, and the search finds each of them.
Entrance pins. Zoomed in closely, numbered pins mark the entrances of the selected building.
House numbers. A search for a house number shows the matching entrance first.
